Service Center Working Hours
All service centers of Nationality and Travel Documents Department are open from 6:00 AM in the morning to 6:00 PM in the evening. All services centers are open from Monday to Friday but the working hours may be different on Friday.

Some service centers remain open on Saturday and/or Sunday, while others remain closed. You can call up your concerned service center to confirm if it is open before you visit it for changing signature in your Qatar ID Card.
Documents Required to Change Signature in Qatar ID
There are only two documents that you need to apply to change signature in Qatar ID at the service center.
- Original Qatar ID Card
- Additional ID e.g. Original Passport or Voter ID or Health ID or Driving License or Equivalent ID Document
The service center may ask you to fill up an application form to request for signature change in QID and you have to follow their instructions.

Step 1: Visit Your Nearest Service Center
From the list of service centers given above, you should select a service center that is near your location. For example: If you live in Al Khor City then the Al Khor Center is the nearest service center for you.

Step 2: Request to Change Signature in Qatar ID
Once you reach the service center, you should find and enter the office/desk that provides Qatar ID Card related services. Go to the service desk and tell the executive that you want to change signature in your Qatar ID Card.
Step 3: Provide a Valid Reason for Signature Change
The service executive will ask you for a reason and you must provide a valid reason to change signature in your QID. For example: You can tell that you want to change signature in Qatar ID to make your financial transactions more secure. You can also give a reason related to legal documents.
Step 4: Fill up the Application Form
The service executive will give you a prescribed application form for changing/updating personal information in Qatar ID Card. You must fill up the application form with all required information and also add your New Signature that you want on your ID Card.

After filling up the application form properly, you should go to the service desk to submit your form with all required documents. You must pay the service fee as requested by the executive.
If you give your Original Documents, the service executive will return them after verifying your identity. In case the executive forgets, you must remember to collect your documents before leaving the service center.
Step 6: Collect the New Qatar ID Card
On completion of all formalities, the service executive will request you to wait for a few minutes to get your New Qatar ID Card ready. If there is a heavy work load, the executive may ask you to visit the service center after 2-3 days.
You should revisit the service center on given time to collect your Qatar ID Card with New Signature.
