Ministry of Interior provides various digital services on the MOI Qatar website portal. The people living in Qatar can access all these services online by visiting the MOI portal. Some services require login, while other services can be accessed without login.

The MOI provides E-Services for passport, visa, QID, residence permit, traffic and many government services. In addition, the MOI provides Inquiry Services for entry permit, exit permit, PCC inquiry, traffic inquiry, visa services and other inquiries.

How to Access MOI Qatar Other Services

The Ministry of Interior provides Inquiry Service for various documents and services. You can check status of your desired document/service at MOI website portal.

Go to Qatar MOI Portal @portal.moi.gov.qa.
Select Inquiries to open relevant page.
Click on Other Inquiries.

#1. Qatar MOI Official Documents

The first service in MOI Qatar Other Services is called official documents. The MOI Authority provides free online inquiry service for Qatar official documents such as QID, Passport, Residence Permit, Residency Visa, Driving License and other documents.

Click on Official Documents.
Enter your Qatar ID Number.
Enter the Captcha Code and click on Search.
Your QID and official documents status and expiry date will appear on screen.

MOI Official Documents Check by Passport Number

Go to MOI Qatar Other Services Inquiries Page.
Click on Official Documents.
Select Passport Number option.
Enter your Passport Number.
Select your Nationality as stated in your passport.
Enter the Captcha Code and click on Search.
Your QID and other official documents expiry date will appear on screen.

#2. MOI Smart Card Application Form

The Smart Card is an upgraded version of Qatar ID Card. Both the citizens and expatriate residents are eligible to apply for the Smart Card online and in-person as per their convenience.

The Ministry of Interior provides Smart Card Application Form online under MOI Other Services at its official web portal. You can view the Smart Card Application Form below and click on it to open the form on your computer or mobile device.

Apply for Smart Card in Qatar

Open MOI Smart Card Application Form: Click Here
Fill up the application form with your name, date of birth, nationality and other personal information.
Select your desired validity for your Smart Card.
Add your signature and print the application form.
Visit the MOI Service Center and go to Expatriates Affairs Department if you are an expat or go to Nationality and Travel Documents Department if you are a citizen of Qatar.
Submit your Smart Card Application Form with required documents.
Pay the Fee and complete remaining process.
Exit the service center after finishing all steps.

The concerned department will issue a Smart Card and inform you by an email/SMS when your Smart Card is ready.

#3. MOI Smart Card Activation Application Form

The MOI Other Services include the Smart Card Activation Application Form PDF for people whose smart card is not activated yet. If you have an inactive smart card, you should download this form and submit it to relevant MOI department to request for activation of your smart card.

#4. MOI Inquiry on Company’s ID Particulars

The Inquiry on Company’s ID Particulars is an online service to check any company’s registration details in Qatar. The Ministry of Interior offers this facility at MOI portal under MOI Qatar other services in Inquiries section.

In order to check Registration Details of an Establishment/Company situated anywhere in Qatar, just follow the steps given below.

Go to MOI Qatar Other Services Inquiries Page.
Click on Inquiry on Company’s ID Particulars.
Enter concerned Company’s ID Number and Authorized Signatory’s ID Number.
Enter the Captcha Code and click on Search button.
The relevant company’s registration details will appear on screen.

#5. MOI Change Employer Application Inquiry

The workers can submit request to the Ministry of Labour via online application or offline application. After submission of change employer application, it may take several days for processing the request. During the waiting period, the workers can check their application status at MOI other services under Inquiries.
